Journals

I love journals. I always have. I love the pretty books with the nice neat paper and I absolutely love looking back on a journal that has been completely filled with words.

Looking back on an old journal is like looking through your heart. You flip through the pages and see all the things you thought in the past and how you felt. It's like putting the story of your life into an actual book and there's something beautiful about that.

Not only that, I love writing. When I write, I imagine that I'm reading a book but everything I haven't read yet is completely blacked out. As I write, the words are revealed to me and the black evaporates to nothing.

That's why I like the idea of blogging. Even though I know not a lot of people will see this, I just love the idea of writing things and keeping them all together on a webpage that I made all cute and pretty.

There is just something about words that I truly adore. Who knows, maybe it's just an introverts love story.

Rainy Days

There is something about rainy days that makes me feel inspired. They make me want to put on a warm sweater, sit down with a cup of tea, and do something productive. Rain just has that sort of vibe to it.

As it doesn't rain much where I'm from, days like this are seldom but I think that makes us appreciate them far more. I guess that applies to everything, the less you see of it, the more you appreciate it. At the same time, it's important to appreciate everything you have because you never know when it will become like the rain and only come once in a while.

My wish to whomever reads this is that you have a lovely day and despite the weather of your life, you live to the fullest.
